Brendan Heavner is a dedicated and well-rounded scholar who will attend St. Lawrence University to major in Biology. He is considering a future career in medicine. During high school, Brendan balanced academic excellence with athletic and extracurricular involvement, participating in National Honor Society, Envirothon, New Visions Healthcare and NICA NY. A talented multi-sport athlete, he competed in varsity track, swimming and cross country, demonstrating commitment, perseverance and leadership. Brendan also broadened his global perspective by traveling to Botswana through the CIEE program, where he studied wildlife conservation and sustainability. His curiosity, strong work ethic and passion for science and service position him well for future success in the medical field and beyond.

London Kinley is an accomplished scholar-athlete who will attend Binghamton University to major in Electrical Engineering. Throughout high school, London consistently demonstrated academic excellence, earning High Honors every semester from grades 9–12, recognition as an AP Scholar with Honor and the Clarkson University High School Leadership Award. In addition to his impressive academic achievements, he excelled as a varsity swimmer, earning Scholar Athlete honors all four years, serving as team captain from grades 10–12 and being named Varsity Swimming MVP. London also captured multiple Section III Class C Varsity Swimming Championships, showcasing his dedication, discipline and competitive spirit. Although still exploring his future career aspirations, London’s strong leadership skills, academic ability and determination will undoubtedly lead him to continued success.

Caitlin O’Sullivan is an accomplished and service-driven scholar who will attend Union College to major in Biology as she prepares to pursue medical school and a future career as a doctor. Throughout high school, Caitlin demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication through her involvement as captain of the varsity swim team, Vice President of Mock Trial and participation in the New Visions Healthcare program. She also excelled academically as a Battle of the Books regional champion and served as both vice president and treasurer. Beyond school, Caitlin dedicated her time to helping others as a Khan Academy SAT peer tutor, volunteer at Wolf Mountain Sanctuary and certified state lifeguard. Her compassion, work ethic and commitment to service make her an outstanding role model and future healthcare professional.

Emily Rawitch has distinguished herself as an exceptional leader, advocate and role model within her school and community. She will attend the University of Wisconsin–Madison to major in Education Policy and Public Policy, with plans to possibly pursue a master’s degree in Public Policy. Throughout high school, she demonstrated remarkable initiative by reviving the Cooperstown literary magazine as Editor in Chief while also serving as President of Leo Club, President of Identity Alliance, Secretary of Student Council and a Student Member of the Cooperstown Board of Education. In addition to her impressive leadership roles, she excelled as a varsity track and field athlete and captivated audiences as the lead actress in several school musicals. Her dedication, intellect and passion for advocacy and service make her truly deserving of recognition.
