Dear Cooperstown Community,

On behalf of the Cooperstown Central School District, we want to extend our heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to vote in Tuesday’s school budget vote.

Thanks to your support, the 2026-27 school budget, the transportation (bus lease) proposition and the public library tax proposition all passed. These votes are more than just numbers – they’re a reflection of your commitment to our students, staff and the future of education in Cooperstown.

In the Board of Education election, Maggie Dowd and Christopher Franck were elected to the two open seats. They will each serve a three-year term from July 2026 through June 2029. We look forward to their leadership and commitment to our school community.

We are grateful for a community that values education, invests in opportunity and shows up for our schools. Your involvement helps us continue to provide a strong, well-rounded educational experience for every Hawkeye.
