We're proud to share that Cooperstown Junior/Senior High School has been named a New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) School of Excellence for the 2025-26 school year!
This prestigious recognition is awarded to schools where 75% or more of varsity athletic teams earn Scholar-Athlete Team status. To achieve Scholar-Athlete Team recognition, the average GPA of the top 75% of each team's roster must be 3.6 or higher.
This honor reflects the hard work, dedication and commitment of our student-athletes, coaches, teachers and families, who continue to demonstrate that success in athletics and academics go hand in hand.
